About Partnerships
NACCFA’s corporate and other partners have played a vital role in the transformation of the Nairobi Arboretum Conservancy (NAC) since 2019. Their generous support, in the form of both cash and in-kind donations, has been essential to NAC’s success.
Nairobi Arboretum is a gazetted forest under Kenya Forest Service which is a state corporation under the Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Forestry. KFS derives its mandate from the Forest Conservation and Management Act 2016 which allows for participatory forest management through Community Forest Associations. The service is mandated to conserve, manage, develop, and sustainably utilize forests and allied resources.
