I am native to Australia, but the range of my distribution is quite large, and I can be found in most temperate rainforests. I am known as a fire wheel tree because of the unique appearance of my flowers, which have been used for ornamental purposes for a long time. However, I have a more important practical use where my wood has been used for construction purposes in the past. I don’t have particular growing preferences, but you will often find me in areas that are sunny, moist areas.
