FOR MONKEYS

Monkeys are an interactive species in the forest. These are actions you need to take to ensure a pleasant experience and safety for both you and the monkeys.
1. Waste Management Keep areas clean and organized to limit the attraction of the monkeys to that area.
2. Do not feed the monkeys! Feeding the monkey puts you and them at risk. Feeding the monkeys alters their behaviour and causes them to be dependent on this as a food source. As wild animals do, when this becomes a food source, they become aggressive when seeking access to this food source henceforth.
3. Intensify vigilance! You must assert where the monkeys are not welcome, this becomes a habit, and they respect boundaries. Ignoring them in areas where they aren’t welcome, makes them comfortable over time and it becomes very difficult to change their behaviour.

FOR BIRDS

1. Keep your voice low when in areas where you spot birds. This is to avoid spooking them away.
2. Try not to make sudden movements. This may come across as aggression to the birds and scare them.
3. No smoking.
4. Please do not feed them as this may encourage their dependence on treats from humans as a food source.
5. If you do come in physical contact with a bird, avoid touching its head or feet as birds are especially sensitive to physical contact in those areas.

FOR DOGS

1. Dogs must have up-to-date Vaccination Certificates and be registered with NACCFA.
2. Dogs must always be leashed while in the park and are restricted to the designated paths.
