Tree Description

I am native to Central America and the Northern regions of South America, but I have become naturalised to Kenya and several other countries with my preferred, tropical climates. I am extremely adaptable and can survive and reproduce in a variety of different conditions. I am often regarded as an invasive species and I can invade and suppress the growth of native species when left unchecked. My timber is not valued but I am sometimes used as a boundary maker.
