Tree Description

I am a native of Brazil but my most known characteristic globally is the spicy resinous fragrance that is very identifiable. Due to my attractive features, I am often introduced to urban settings as well as thriving in the wild. I am very adaptable to different conditions and can survive in colder climates as well as warmer climates. I tend to change my appearance according to the weather, ranging from orange to red to brown according to the weather. My edible fruits are botanical berries, and their taste can be sweet or sour. They are often an incremental factor used when manufacturing jams and jellies. My leaves act as a repellent of flies at times and can simultaneously be used in tea concoctions, specifically in Uruguay.
